Independent financial advice for Harrow
Kingsmarque Wealth Management works with clients across the London Borough of Harrow, from Harrow-on-the-Hill and North Harrow through to Wealdstone, Kenton, Rayners Lane and South Harrow. We are independent, which means we can recommend from across the whole of the relevant market rather than a restricted panel.
We are based in Covent Garden and meet clients at home, at our London office, or by video call.
What we are usually asked about in Harrow
Harrow is a more varied borough than its neighbours. Alongside long-settled homeowners there is a large population of younger families, first-time buyers, self-employed people and owner-managed businesses. The questions we get here reflect that mix.
Buying, remortgaging and borrowing
Harrow attracts a steady flow of buyers priced out of inner London, and a lot of our work here starts with a mortgage question. That might be a first purchase, a remortgage coming off a fixed rate, a self-employed applicant struggling to evidence income in the way lenders want, or parents considering how to help a child buy. We look at the borrowing in the context of everything else rather than in isolation.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. Some forms of buy-to-let and commercial lending are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Advice for the self-employed and business owners
If you run your own company, the line between business and personal finances is rarely clean. We advise on pension contributions made from the company, extracting profit efficiently, protecting the business against the loss of a key person, and making sure there is a plan for what happens to your shareholding.
Tax treatment depends on your individual circumstances and may change in the future. Some forms of business planning and tax planning are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Protection that reflects real commitments
Protection is the part of a financial plan people most often get wrong: cover bought years ago for a smaller mortgage, or a policy that pays out to an estate rather than to the people who need it. We check what you actually hold, whether it still matches your commitments, and whether it is written into trust.
Family and intergenerational planning
Multi-generational households are common in Harrow, and money decisions are frequently made across two or three generations at once. That can mean helping with a deposit, funding education, supporting a parent, or thinking about how an estate passes on. We are comfortable having that conversation with more than one generation in the room.
The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate estate planning, tax planning or most forms of trust advice.
Pensions and retirement
Most people arrive with several old workplace pensions and little idea what is in them. We establish what you hold, whether bringing them together helps, and what a realistic retirement income looks like.
The value of a pension and the income it produces can fall as well as rise, and is not guaranteed.

How we work
The first conversation is at our cost and carries no obligation. If we think we can add something, we will explain exactly what we would do and what it would cost, in writing, before you commit. If we do not think we can, we will say so.
Common questions
I am self-employed. Is that a problem for a mortgage?
Not in itself, but lenders assess self-employed income very differently from one another, and the right lender for you may not be the one with the best headline rate. That is precisely where independent advice earns its keep.
Do you only work with people who already have significant assets?
No. A good deal of our work is with people building up rather than winding down.
Can you advise both me and my parents?
Yes, and it is often more useful that way, provided everyone is comfortable with it.
What does independent mean?
That we can consider products from across the whole of the relevant market, and that we are required to recommend what is suitable for you.
